Who
I am Stefan, a statistician based in Berlin, Germany, who has worked in academia, private industry, and federal healthcare regulation, routinely operating advanced methods in statistics and data science. This includes clinical trial planning and analyses, experimental design, prediction modeling, exploration of high-dimensional biomedical data sets, statistical quality control, or causal inference methods. I have many years of experience in consulting researchers and decision-makers on the production, use, and effective communication of valid quantitative evidence. My applied research portfolio spans work in medical sciences, biology, ecology, and social sciences. I hold a Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science and have taught experimental design and data analysis at multiple Universities of Applied Sciences. The Royal Statistical Society has granted me their highest professional accreditation (Chartered Statistician). Multiple clients from industry, academia, and the non-profit sector (NGOs) have worked with me successfully in the past.
